White Raven Manor is such a gorgeous venue, so much so that a lot of this editorial was inspired by the venue itself! The manor has romantic gardens, and gorgeous architecture.
I created a hand painted watercolor border of phlox, which made the basis for the rest of the stationery design. The border was reimagines as a pattern for the envelope liner, printed onto vellum for a delicate effect. This phlox pattern was pulled into the menus as a vellum wrap around the menu card, with white calligraphy for the names of each guest.
